Over two years, forever lasting, cc project of mine has come to an end. About a time! Gosh, never again. So now I present you several pairs of ears for your fantasy / sci-fi / supernatural sims.

I finally finished one of my biggest tattoos. I’ve been wanting to create such a tattoo for a long time, but I never had the right muse for it. Now it’s done and I’m so happy with it. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Got a bit more work to do on the “Lower” characters left hand just towards the end of the animation, it kinda floats a bit aimlessly there for a while…
Let me know if you see anything else that needs fixing. A fresh set of eyes is always useful in these things.
I’m not gonna predrict when exactly this will be finished, but it should be pretty soon.
There will have to be some rather big changes for the animation to work without the bed rig in pose player. But it shouldn’t take more than a few days.
Then we start our new project. And I have a request lined up…
You’ll just have to wait and see exactly what that is… 😺
Today’s focus is on head and lip movement for a tiny part of the animation.

I only remembered that Keycast (where the keys I’m pressing show up on screen)
was a thing about half way through, so sorry about that. I’ll make sure to have
that turned on from the beginning next time.

I’m snivelling something terrible at the second… Seriously the ability to
breathe through ones nose is a criminally underrated bodily function.

Mini Tip/Reminder: When you animate a character brushing their hand across any surface with a reasonable amount of friction (in this case skin), drag the fingers behind the hand, rotating the fingers to mimic where they were last resting. This creates the illusion of contact and resistance between your two objects/actors.
Sorry this animation is taking a long time. Been a bit ill recently. Nothing serious, just the standard winter bugs and infections. Still have the remains of a sore throat that makes me sound like a chain smoker, so no tutorial videos for a little while.
Hi All, Studio now has another feature that has been requested many times – the ability to unmerge merged packages. This feature (and a couple others) have been included in the new Content Management menu that is accessed from the upper menu bar on the front page:
There is a tutorial showing how to use the new feature HERE. This tutorial also has information about what you can expect when you un-merge a package. Please check it out if you plan to use the new feature.
The Windows version of Studio (Wishes) also contains a significantly improved color palette feature that allows the use of large color palettes without error. If you aren’t yet familiar with this feature, there is a tutorial showing how to use it HERE. If you want to use a color palette that someone has shared with you, just install it in your Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Palettes folder, and it will show up on your list of palettes.
Last (but not least), by request, Wishes also has the ability to toggle the pack icon (checkbox to the right of the thumbnail image) when creating thumbnails.
Hi all, today Studio updates with one of the most requested features on the wish list: saveable color palettes. This feature will allow you to create, apply, and share custom color palettes that consist of swatch thumbnails and associated color tags.
There is a tutorial showing how to use the new feature HERE. This tutorial also includes some helpful information about color palettes.
A thread for discussing the new color palette feature has been added to the Creator Help forum HERE. Please feel welcome to drop in and share your thoughts on the new option.
Once the feature UI is finalized, color palettes will be added to the Mac version also.

I had to cut down some of the animation because I’ve hit a bit of a snag with the IK function on the cheek and hand, but this hopefully still works nicely as a preview.
By the way this is in pose player so there’s no animation on the bed, its just faster to put it in the game for testing purposes done that way. There will be a version of this animation uploaded for WickedWhims that does include the bed animation.
There will also be a pose player version which I might just have to adjust to work with the standard pillow layout, but I digress…
